Luz Oliveras is a mixed-media artist and painter based in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, right on the outskirts of Philadelphia. His work explores themes of intimacy in relation to queer identity, conservatism, and modern internet culture through visually whimsical and colorful paintings, often including original characters he created called “pudis.” His work has been exhibited in primarily academic galleries within Delaware County Community College, and past pieces have been purchased by the college and awarded a Faculty award for best dedicated body of work. Luz is on track to receive his Bachelors in Fine Arts from Kutztown University in 2027 and continues his extensive body of paintings exploring the queer intricacies of the "chronically online."
